Runner wellness / movement assessment

$150–$200 per session

Services are available to those in NY only.

All rehabilitation & wellness/performance sessions follow these rates, and are paid through IvyPay secure app, cash or check (payable to Immersion PT):

  • Standard Session (45-60 minutes): $150
  • Extended Session (>60 minutes): $200

Please note: Travel over 1 hour and/or extensive paperwork/communication may incur additional fees.

Sessions generally take place in the comfort of your own home. This allows for optimization of a home program based on what equipment & space are most readily available to you! Alternative locations include: your office (check with your boss first); a local park or track; or Dr. Megan's home office (helpful if your program may involve the Lever system).

Wellness / Performance

  • General Health, Fitness, Injury Prevention, Healthy Training
  • Running gait analysis & movement screens
  • Great for Company Retreats & Sports Teams!
  • Individual Fitness Assessment & goal-setting (think of this as “the PT physical”)

PT / Rehab vs. Wellness

Understanding the difference between Physical Therapy (PT) / Rehab Services and Wellness Services can help you determine which option best suits your needs.

Wellness Services

If you have minor discomfort that does not limit your function—such as occasional hip tightness that doesn’t interfere with daily activities—this qualifies as Wellness. Wellness services also include:

  • Improving technique, training capacity, or overall health and performance.
  • Proactive care to optimize movement and prevent future injuries.

Since wellness services do not involve a diagnosed injury, they are typically not reimbursable by insurance. Therefore, no itemized receipts or diagnosis codes will be provided.

Why private-pay to work with a PT?

The private pay (cash-based) model allows us to focus entirely on your goals without the restrictions and additional paperwork that accompany working with insurance companies.

While the upfront cost may be higher, this approach often saves you money in the long run by providing high quality, one-on-one care; effective, patient-centered treatment plans; and fewer overall visits to achieve your goals (most patients see Meg for only 2-3 visits!).

Please note: If you are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation, or a No-Fault plan, you are not eligible for services at Immersion PT. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and would be happy to refer you to a trusted colleague who can better meet your needs!
